Business Development Manager

(B2B Sales, Business Membership) £50K OTE
Position: Business Development Manager (territory based)
Location: Nationwide
Salary: £50K Year 1 OTE

ROLE:
As part of our 2012 expansion plans, we are looking to build upon our Field Sales team with vacancies all over the UK. This is a varied role developing business from marketing leads, referrals and other sales activities.

Previous experience in a sales role is not essential as full company funded training includes a live in initial training  as well as constant ongoing support.

The position provides unlimited income potential, essentially you have the opportunity to operate your own business with no staff required, stock to carry or overhead cost to bear. Realistic OTE for year 1 is £50k.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Manage relationships with existing clients both over the phone and face to face.
b) Cold calling new prospects.
c) Attending networking events.
d) Attending client meetings to present the Bartercard solution.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
a) First class communication skills.
b) IT literate.
c) Highly motivated.
d) Confident.
e) Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to think creatively.

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
a) Previous B2B sales experience.
