Position: Trade Coordinator / Account Manager

Location: Bournemouth / Home counties / Berkshire / Slough / London
Salary: £18k Basic + OTE (yr1 £19-£21k, yr2 £21-£25k, yr3 £25-£30k)

ROLE:
The Trade Coordinator (TCO) is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and for the creation of trade volume and payment of trading fees on their client base. The TCO will maintain regular contact with all of their clients in order to improve their knowledge of each client's business so that trade volume can be maximized. The Trade Coordinator must initiate transactions and liaise with clients in order to achieve pre set monthly and quarterly goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Being reactive to the client's needs, with a same day turnaround.

b) Being proactive by contacting clients via service calls at least once a month with business solutions and proactive trading opportunities.

c) To encourage and assist members in buying and selling through the company’s system.

d) Actively promote and market clients within the company’s network.

e) Increase trade volume while maintaining a high level of service to clients.

f) Be proactive in creating innovative methods and vehicles to enhance client trading.

g) Work closely with clients in educating them to understand their maximum capacity for Trading.

h) Conduct personal visits, to solve problems, create opportunities and extract financial information where necessary.

i) Conduct professional and thorough Members Packs, to ensure clients are capable of trading from day one.

j) Record daily trading with clients on the contact database.

k) Keep abreast of product knowledge on a local, national and international basis.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

a) Experience in a B2B sales or account manager focused role is preferable but not essential.

b) Hold full driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.

c) Ideally some experience of working in a face to face sales role (this role will see you meeting clients 2 days per month) or phone sales.

d) An excellent phone manner and enthusiastic “can do” attitude.
