This section explains our guidelines regarding the use of Bartercard’s logos and other trademarks.
If you would like to use the Bartercard logo, we explain the conditions for the permitted use and provide the contact details you will need to obtain the logo artwork.
The permissions on this page do not extend to use in broadcast, such as in a television or film production. For broadcast use, please contact Bartercard Head Office.
General guidelines that apply to all permitted uses of the Bartercard Logo:
- Don’t use the Bartercard Logo in a way that is deceptive, harmful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable to Bartercard.
- You may not present or feature the Bartercard Logo on websites containing content associated with pornography or illegal activities.
- You must keep sufficient space around the Bartercard Logo so that it appears clean and uncluttered.
- You may not combine our Bartercard Logo, or elements of our logo, with your own name or mark or generic terms.
- You may not use any Bartercard logo other than the most current Bartercard word logo listed below.
- Do not use trademarks, logos, or other content that is confusingly similar to the Bartercard Logo.
- You may not attempt to get rights in the Bartercard logo, or any confusingly similar approximations, whether by trademark registration, domain name registration, or otherwise.
- We require the use of the ® attribution symbol with our Logo.
- You must seek express permission before using any Bartercard logos and all finished artwork must be approved.
